I am interdisciplinary artist practicing in Chicago. I received my BFA with a focus on Painting & Illustration from Columbia College in Chicago, IL. Heavily influenced by my
Armenian upbringing, i often return to the rich culture and history of the Armenian
people for inspiration. I approach my practice with the intention to share my stories
by translating them within my work.


Through the experimentation of mixed media, I utilize material as a conceptual
device to focus on politics, culture, gender roles and cultivate consciousness on social
justice issues. While I portray varying aesthetic styles throughout my work, my
admiration for surrealism and expressionism is evident.
